• Payment Information: Your payment history and subscription status. Payments are processed by Stripe; card details are entered on Stripe’s systems and are never received or stored by us.
• Account Information: Your profile information, preferences, trading history if applicable, and communications within our Discord community.
• Technical Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time and date of visits, referring website, and other usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
• Communications: Any messages, feedback, or inquiries you send us via email, contact forms, or our messaging systems.

3. How We Use Your Information

Insider.Island uses the collected information for various purposes:

• To create and manage your membership account
• To deliver educational content, courses, and trading signals
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To communicate with you about your account, membership, and updates

4. Account Sign-In via Discord

To buy and access our courses you sign in with your Discord account. We do not create or store a password for you. Signing in tells us the following, and nothing beyond it:

• From Discord: your Discord user ID, your Discord username and avatar, and the email address registered with your Discord account.
• From Stripe: your customer ID, which subscriptions you hold, their status and the date the current billing period ends. We never receive or store your card details.
• Generated by us: a record of which Discord roles were granted or removed for your account, and when. This log exists so that access disputes can be resolved factually.

Why we process this: to perform the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We need to know who you are in order to unlock the modules you paid for on our Discord server, and to remove that access when a subscription ends. If you also permit it during the Discord consent dialog, we use the same authorisation to add you to our Discord server.

Where it is stored: account data is held by Supabase, Inc. as our processor, on servers located in Frankfurt, Germany (region eu-central-1). Payment data stays with Stripe; role assignment happens at Discord. Discord Inc. and Stripe, Inc. are established in the United States; transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long: for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete it at any time — we then remove your roles and erase your account record. Invoices and payment records are retained by Stripe for the periods required by tax law, which we cannot shorten.

Your control: you can disconnect your Discord account, cancel your subscription in the Stripe customer portal, or request deletion by writing to the address in the Contact section. Withdrawing the Discord connection ends automatic access; it does not by itself cancel a paid subscription.

5. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and conducting our business (hosting providers, payment processors, email services).
• Community Platforms: Information may be shared with Discord and other platforms hosting our community.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law or in response to valid legal requests from authorities.
• Protection of Rights: We may disclose information to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and that of our members and the public.
• Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
